Exciting Free Events this Fall


Welcome to our 1st blog edition! There are exciting and fun free events that are happening in each county in Michigan. Even though it is getting colder that is no reason to keep the kids inside the house. Here is just a few things happening in the counties Wayne, Macomb, and Oakland that you and your family can enjoy.

ALL COUNTIES

Lakeshore Learning Kids Workshop

Lakeshore Learning Store has free classes for children ages 3 & up which takes place every Saturday each month. Join Lakeshore Learning Stores at different locations learning how to create fun Arts & Crafts for free. Find your local www.lakeshorelearning.com

MJR Free Kids Movies

Fall & Spring Festival at certain MJR' locations theatres shows specific movies for chilren at no cost, $1 per adult. To recieve more information, check local the listiongs. www.mjrtheares.com for availlable times.

Anton Art Center

Anton Art Center at 125 Macomb Place, Mt. Clemens has free classes suchas (art parties, art fairs, and more). Registration is reqiired click here. Children ages 6-12 children are Free!!! There is workshop called Mixed Media Workshp every Saturday at 10:30am-12:30pm. For more information click here.

OAKLAND COUNTY

Disney Store at Somerset 2800 W. Big Beaver Rd Troy, MI 48084 is celebrating Star Wars Reads Day!!! On October 10, 2015 hours 10:30 am, 11:30am, & 12:30pm. The Cast Members at the Disney Store will be reading Star War books and free giveaways of coloring sheets, bookmarks, and trivia for the ages of 3 & up. MACOMB COUNTY

Visiting Cider Mills are super fun for the Fall season! Blake’s Orchard & Cider Mill a family owned and operated since 1946, which was the first pick-your-own orchard in Michigan. This Macomb County cider mill is located 17985 Armada Center Rd Armada, MI is a great outing for a family on a budget. The Blake's Orchard has fresh cider and donuts! Blake's Farms is free entry but family entertainment has fees such as: pony,train, and hayrides, cornfield mazes, and other family activities. Look out for Halloween excitment at Blake's Orchard & Cider Mill for haunted house events this month!

WAYNE COUNTY

Enjoy Ford Free Second Sunday at Charles H. Wright Museum of African American History 315 East Warren Avenue • Detroit, Michigan 48201! Courtesy of Ford Motor Company every second Sunday is free! On October 10, 2015 hours 1:00pm-5:00pm is open to the public for free! For more information click here.
